Midwest Electronic Systems (Midwest Electronics) was founded by Ralf Nosic in 1993 in Columbia, Missouri. Ralf had previously been employed as a systems sales representative by ADT from 1984 to 1987, and by Simplex from 1987 to 1993. Distributorships were immediately set up with Gamewell, FCI, Bosch, Bogen, Crest Electronics, Identicard, and a number of other manufacturers.
