Starting as a hardware store gunsmith and locksmith Pinkston?s was located on the corner of Main and Short St in beautiful downtown Lexington KY. In 1981 David Burdine bought the locksmith division of Pinkston?s. David worked at Pinkston?s in high school and upon graduation from Eastern Kentucky University went on to become one of the first certified master locksmiths in the country and is also a certified fire inspector. After moving the company to the Meadowthorpe area just off Leestown Rd. the electronic division Security Services was started. Both companies are incorporated within Burdine Security Group.
